List Of Android Devices Getting Android 9 Pie; Asus, Sony, Vivo and Huawei

Huawei and Google are already testing the new Android OS on Mate, Honor and Pixels phones. A Google pixel user complained that the OS drains the battery faster than normal. Well we all know that OS has some big issue always, even Windows 10 and iOS has the same issues.

Asus doesn’t have such a huge repository of devices, which also means that there won’t be so many devices from the company on the list of Android Pie update. Other than the flagship ZenFone 5 series, which includes the ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite, some devices in the ZenFone 4 line up should also receive Asus Android 9 Pie update.

Sony is going to be rolling out the Android 9 Pie update to its Xperia XZ2, Xperia XA2 and several other devices by the fourth quarter of this year. follow the details carefully because you will eventually be able to experience the latest and greatest operating system update from Google.

Vivo hasn’t given an official statement on if and when most of its phones will be updated to Android 9 Pie. However, we’ve seen the company roll out some Android OS updates to certain devices in the X series and we expect the same to continue with the Vivo Android 9 Pie update. To this effect, below are the Vivo phones that we think will be upgraded to Android Pie, officially.

Huawei has confirmed Android 9.0 internal testing for the Mate 10, Mate 10 Porsche Design, Mate RS Porsche Design, P20 Pro, and Honor Play. With the Mate 10 Pro, P20, Honor 10, and Honor V10 already confirmed to be in testing earlier this month, that takes the full tally to nine in total.
