Tegra Jetson chips

Nvidia is best known for GPU on devices like laptops, tablets, hopeful on phones. The company like any other periodically updates their operating system. This time Nvidia is updating the part of its chips in wake of the vulnerabilities found in certain CPUs. They recently announced some releases for its GPUs, as well as a schedule for when other updates, such as those for its SoCs would be coming.

Nvidia revealed updates coming for its Android-based Shield Tablet and Shield TV. Shield Experience 5.4 for Tablet and Shield Experience 6.1 for TV will both be out before the end of January. Nvidia also announced updated for it high-end Tegra Jetson SoCs. The TX1 happen to be “the world’s first supercomputer on a module,” while the TX2 “is the fastest, most power-efficient AI computing device.” The TK1 is mainly used for embedded systems applications on supercomputers around the world.
