Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 tablet was launched in October 2017. The tablet comes with an 8.00-inch display with a resolution of 800 pixels by 1280 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is powered by octa-core Exynos 7880 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 packs an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 runs Android 7.1 and is powered by a 4450mAh non-removable battery.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include the Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Samsung has launched a rugged tablet extending its portfolio. The new Galaxy Tab Active 2 has been announced for the Netherlands and will be available at EUR 500 (roughly Rs. 39,000). According to a report, the new tablet will go on sale starting end November.
