Huawei sub-brand Honor today launched its latest Android tablet called the Honor WaterPlay 3. It is a mid-range tablet that flaunts IP67 certification to deliver dust and water resistance. The tablet also comes with a premium all-metal unibody design and four Harman Kardon-powered speakers to deliver an immersive media experience. Huawei Honor WaterPlay 3 Specifications
The Honor WaterPlay 3 offers a 10.1-inch full HD display and boots Android Nougat 7.0 with EMUI 5.1 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor, mated to a Mali T830-MP2 GPU. The tablet comes in two models – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB, and accepts microSD cards up to 256GB in size. The tablet comes in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE variants. The device is fuelled by a 6,660mAh battery, which is capable of delivering 800 hours of standby time. The tablet also comes with a fingerprint sensor, which is integrated into its home button on the front.
The Honor WaterPlay 3 tablet comes in champagne gold and silver hues. The tablet will go on sale in China starting October 24th for pre-order in China from VMall,. An entry-level model is priced at about $300 and features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A 4GB/64GB model sells for about $360, and there’s also a 4GB/64GB model with 4G LTE support that goes for a little over $400.
