The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 which earlier got WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) with Android 7.0 Nougat onboard has now been spotted on a GeekBench benchmarking website with Android 7.1.1. This does mean that Samsung is testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 was initially running Android Lollipop OS.
In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A got 526 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 1413 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A has 2GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.19 GHz quad-core processor. The handset is built on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
