Last time, we hear about Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S. Apparently leak has surfaced yet again. The tablet was earlier scheduled to launch last month but did not happen. However, recent reports suggest that the new Galaxy tablet, which by the way is intended to children, might make its way to the South Korean market very soon. And now, sort of in line with the soon release, some images of the purported Galaxy Tab A2 S have shown up, seeing the full design of the tablet.

The purported Samsung tablet is seen featuring a full metal body. At the back, the camera module and the LED flash are neatly placed with the Samsung branding just below the two. Up front, Galaxy Tab A2 S is seen thick bezels around the sides, as well as the top and bottom. On the bottom bezel, there are a fingerprint scanner and capacitive touch buttons. The capsule-shaped home button will double as a fingerprint scanner. The images display the tablet in a grey colour, but reportedly the tab will also come in a gold colour variant.

In terms of specifications, Galaxy Tab A2 S is rumoured to flaunt an 8-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) display. At the heart, it is considered to be powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer will be 16GB of internal storage, which will be compatible with a micro SD card slot to expand the memory further.

In terms of optics, the tablet is supposed to sport an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a fixed-focus lens. Samsung is thought to launch the tablet in two variants Wi-Fi only, and a Wi-Fi + LTE variant. Additionally, the tablet is believed to pack a 5,000 mAh batteries, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It will run Android 7.0 out-of-the-box.

In Europe, the Wi-Fi only variant of the Galaxy Tab A2 S is speculated to cost €200, while the LTE variant to cost €300
