Honor launched two models of the Play Pad 2 tablet. It comes in 8-inch play pad 2 and 9.6-inch play pad 2 and is available only in China. Recently a new Honor tablet is spotted on the Chinese certification site TENAA, It comes with the model number BG2-U01. According to the listing, it will be available only in Gold and Gray colour options. The tablet runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the customized EMUI laid on top.
This new tablet comes with a 7-inch display offering 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It runs on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. There is a 2MP sensor on the front and back of the tablet without LED flash. It supports cellular connectivity and has a SIM card slot.
The BG2-U01 tablet is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It measures 187.6 x 103.7 x 8.6 mm and weighs 275 grams, MicroUSB 2.0 port sits on the bottom, the 3.5mm audio jack is on the top edge.
