Design and Display
The Chuwi SurBook flaunts a fan-less, all-metal design, which is impressive for a not overly expensive 2-in-1. The body rocks a silver or black finish. The Chuwi SurBook tablet even features a kickstand just like a Surface Pro and iPad Pro. You can flip it up to 125 degrees. It comes with a backlit keyboard you can detach to use the device as a tablet. With a 12.3-inch display, with a resolution comparable to that of the Surface Pro – 2736 x 1824 pixels. Hardware and Software
While the Chuwi SurBook may be considered a competitor of the Surface, it falls short in hardware. The Chuwi SurBook cannot be able to stand against a Surface device in terms of performance. It comes with an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor, while Kaby Lake Core processors on the Microsoft devices. But it is a good thing that the CPU clocks 2.2 GHz. The Chuwi SurBook also offers impressive 6 GB of RAM. So you should still get enjoyable performance as well as decently long battery life. You will be able to get the 2-in-1 in 64GB and 128GB models. The operating system of choice here is Windows 10.
The hybrid offers a pair of 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras for image capturing.
