Reports coming in recently reveals that Nokia is will release two new high end smartphones soon. According to the reports, the phones will be released from the stable of HMD Global Oy. Finland-based HMD Global Oy purchased part of the feature phone business of Microsoft Mobile, the company founded after Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia’s original mobile phone business in 2014.
According to the report, the two smartphones will have screen sizes of 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch both sporting QHD resolutions.There’s a smaller 5.2-inch display model and a larger 5.5-inch model . Both smartphones will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat (Android N) skinned with Z launcher UI.
Other specs includes a metal body with IP68 certification meaning it will be both waterproof and dustproof. Both phones will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset. Camera is expected to be a huge 22.2MP sensor and with Nokia’s experience in the area it’s expected to perform well.
