ASUS has made the Transformer 3 Pro, Transformer 3 and Transformer 3 Mini  2-in-1 PCs official today at Computex 2016. The three new 2-in-1 PCs cover different price ranges from the most powerful Transformer Pro to the less powerful but long lasting Transformer 3 Mini.

Transformer Mini

 

The Transformer  Mini is the least powerful of the three. Its powered by an Atom X5 chip, which is less powerful, but churns out more battery life (upto 11 hrs). ASUS Transformer Mini features a 10.1-inch display with 400cd/m2 brightness and ASUS TruVivid display technology that reduces reflections for a rich, vibrant picture in all lighting conditions.

It weighs 530g without is keyboard attached and the 170g with the keyboard. the keyboard comes with a fingerprint scanner attached. ASUS hasn’t said anything about its pricing and availability yet, but we are hoping it wont be long.


ASUS Transformer 3

The Transformer 3 is at the middle of the pack although it comes equipped with some serious specifications. ASUS Transformer 3 has a beautiful 12.6-inch display with a resolution of 2880 by 1920 and a 275ppi pixel density for pin-sharp, detailed images, as well as 450cd/m2 brightness and a gamut of 121% sRGB color space for rich, vibrant colors. An ultra-thin bezel provides an 80% screen-to-body ratio.

The Transformer 3 has a 7th-gen Intel Core i5 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM (4GB is standard) and a 256GB of SATA3 m.2 SSD (512GB max). There is a USB Type-C connector which supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 devices at speeds up to 10Gbps, and Thunderbolt™ 3 provides unbelievably fast 40Gbps data transfers and support for dual external 4K UHD displays

All these are packed inside a 6.9mm aluminium body that weighs 695g. It will be available in gorgeous Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray color options and pricing starts at $799

Transformer 3 Pro

The Transformer 3 Pro is the most powerful of the three and features the same 12.6″ display of the Transformer 3 with a 2880 x 1920 resolution and 275 ppi pixel density. Under the hood, there’s an Intel Core i7 processor and up to 1TB PCIe SSD and 16GB of 2133MHz RAM, similarly to the ZenBook 3.

At the back, there’s a 13MP camera in addition to a fingerprint sensor. The body is 8.35mm thick and comes with a kickstand, which can be adjusted at any angle up to 170-degrees.
On the connectivity side, the Transformer 3 Pro features USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 ports, a USB 3.0 port and an HDMI connection. The Harmon Kardon speakers round up the premium package.

Pricing for the ASUS Transformer 3 Pro starts at $999
