Sharp has partnered with premium camera company Ricoh to provide the camera in its next flagship which is to be called Sharp Aquos Zeta. The main feature of the phone obviously is its camera which is a 22.6MP snapper that’s certified by Ricoh – whether they will make the software or hardware of the camera remains to be known. Other features of the camera includes a 1080p IGZO display made by Sharp and encased in a waterproof body, Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM.
Sadly, nothing else is known about the phone except that it will come in green, black and white. Hopefully the phone will be launched soon enough to enable it compete with other camera based smartphones in the market.
