Huawei launched the Honor 5C in China. The successor to the 4C comes with specs similar to the P9 lite including the full metallic body.
The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD with FullHD resolution, a 13MP sensor as main camera with 8MP in front which will appeal to selfie lovers. A brand new in-house Kirin 650 octa-core processor powers the phone alongside 2GB of RAM.
Internal storage is 16GB, expandable by up to 128GB and there’s also a fingerprint sensor on the device’s back which according to Huawei will unlock the phone in 0.5 seconds.
The Honor 5C has dual-SIM support and good all-round connectivity suite with multi-band 2G/3G and Cat.6 LTE (4G version only) for speeds up to 300Mbps down, and 50Mbps up. Bluetooth is v4.1, there’s Wi-Fi b/g/n (no Wi-Fi ac), GPS, GLONASS and Beidou for satellite positioning and there’s also an FM radio receiver.
The smartphone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow skinned with EMUI version 4.1.
